Valencia Basket visits the complicated Olympiacos Piraeus court

After stringing together two wins in last week's continental double round, Valencia Basket's men's team will travel again before facing four consecutive home games in its particular #ChristmasTaronja visiting the Olympiacos Piraeus’ court (Friday 15, 8:15 p.m., SEF, Movistar Deportes 2) in a Turkish Airlines EuroLeague round 14.

 

The taronja team will try to extend its streak on the court of a rival that is going to become the one it has visited the most times in European competitions (tomorrow is the eighth time it has traveled to play against the Piraeus team) and in a court in which they have a balanced balance (4-3 in favor of the Greeks) but in which they have won in their last two visits.

 

After achieving last week in Lyon to beat their best record of fewest points received in an away Euroleague game, Álex Mumbrú's men will try to extend their good defensive performance in Greece in a clash that pits the two teams with the least points received into the tournament.

 

To do this, the Taronja team has traveled to Greece with the twelve pro players available since it has the confirmed absences due to injury to Xabi López-Arostegui, Jared Harper and Semi Ojeleye and Martin Hermannsson is questionable.

 

Valencia Basket begins this fourteenth day within that platoon of five teams that have a balance of 7-6, located in 8th position.
